Job Overview
- Enhance Agile Proficiency: Successfully coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams, resulting in measurable improvements in Agile practices and team performance.
- Adopt Agile Frameworks: Facilitate the adoption of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) across IT projects and product teams, leading to increased efficiency and project success rates.
- Improve Team Collaboration: Guide teams in improving collaboration, communication, and overall performance within a product based structure, evidenced by higher team satisfaction and productivity metrics.
- Foster Agility and Innovation: Support leadership in fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement, resulting in a more adaptive and forward-thinking organizational environment.
- Implement Agile Practices: Partner with teams to implement Agile practices that align with the organization's product-based delivery model, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced delivery outcomes.
- Align Business Objectives: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and team practices, leading to better strategic alignment and goal achievement.
- Overcome Barriers to Agile Adoption: Identify and address barriers to Agile adoption, providing actionable solutions that drive progress and enhance the overall Agile maturity of the organization.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success and adaptability of the team and organization. This includes effectively responding to unforeseen challenges, supporting various projects, and ensuring continuous alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications and experience include:
- A four-year university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- The role requires proven experience as an Agile Coach in IT or product-based organizations.
- A deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and Agile tools like Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in guiding Agile Transformation, embed Agile principles into culture, processes, and operations, and work effectively with cross functional product teams in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in conducting retrospectives, promoting continuous improvement, and identifying areas for team growth.
- The ability to scale Agile practices across teams or departments, design and deliver Agile training programs, and use performance monitoring and metrics for data-driven decision-making.
- A period of over 4 years and up to and including 6 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
