Job Title: Processes & Tools Program Manager- Aerospace
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Processes & Tools Program Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO) team. In this role, you will lead multiple initiatives to design, deploy, and sustain processes and tools that empower Program Leaders across the organization to access timely and accurate data for effective decision-making.
As a key member of the PMO, you will drive process optimization, tool development, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This hybrid role provides flexibility with three in-office days per week and the remaining days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development & Implementation:
- Contribute to the PMO roadmap by gathering and documenting program requirements for new tools and processes.
- Define and execute project charters for process and tool initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, refine, and implement effective processes from start to finish.
- Tool Selection & Integration:
- Research, develop, and deploy tools to support program management success.
- Lead the configuration and automation of tools to improve efficiency, including basic integrations between platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Google Sheets, Power BI, MS Project).
- Explore “no-code” or “low-code” solutions for seamless integration and enhanced program capabilities.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor program performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to enhance outcomes.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide clear insights into program progress and team performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Communicate and train stakeholders on new methodologies and tools to ensure smooth adoption.
- Align stakeholders through consistent updates, status reporting, and engagement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices to evolve program management capabilities.
- Provide expert guidance and support across other program management areas to ensure overall success.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in program management, business process reengineering (BPR), continuous improvement, or related fields.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize program execution and reporting.
- Expertise in tools such as Google Sheets, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, and Advanced Roadmaps.
- Experience with dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or G-Suite App Script is desirable.
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.
- Ability to align big-picture goals with project-level details.
- Certifications:
Certification in Agile, Project Management, or Lean/Six Sigma is preferred
