Quality Control Manager
Summary of the Role
The Quality Control Manager plays a crucial role in implementing and overseeing quality assurance and control at field locations. They will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out inspections, as well as reporting on the state of quality on-site. This role requires an engineering background and a strong quality mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Implementation of quality assurance and control on-site

Supporting the site team in implementing the management system

Setting up and supporting the reception of goods, material handling, and interim storage

Preparing and coordinating installation quality documentation (test plans, test procedures, WPS/PQR, welder qualification, identification and traceability of components, heat treatment, etc.)

Ensuring work is performed in accordance with project documentation, customer specifications, drawings, and installation documentation

Supporting the implementation of the management system during the installation phase

Coordinating and performing inspections and tests on-site

Ensuring the use of calibrated measurement equipment on-site

Reporting and following up on site non-conformities

Facilitating the decision-making process for corrective actions with the project team

Preparing site quality records

Supporting customer inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and audits in collaboration with the Site Manager

Implementing the four-eyes principle for quality matters and escalating issues when necessary

Qualifications & Experience

10 or more years of related experience

Previous experience in hydropower is highly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
