Alberta Courts is seeking a Security Manager to lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive information security program. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the security of Court assets across both judicial and administrative areas.
Must-Have Skills:
• 8+ years defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders
• 8+ years developing project deliverables, including project charters and business cases
• 8+ years managing custom application development projects, with at least 5 team members
• 8+ years managing multiple projects concurrently
• 8+ years successfully implementing IT solutions in complex project environments
• 8+ years working as a Project Manager on large, complex custom software projects
• Advanced knowledge of M365-E5 security, firewall technology, LAN/WAN networking, and security tools & protocols
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of security strategies and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Court assets
• Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Work closely with internal/external stakeholders and vendors to drive the successful delivery of security initiatives
• Develop and review project documentation, including charters, business cases, and technical requirements
• Track, report, and manage project progress, risks, scope, and timelines
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
