Document Controller
Document Controller
Location: Vancouver, BC
On-Site: Yes, M - F
Duration: 12 Months (Can be extended annually)
Hours: 40/week
Hourly Rate: $40 - 50/hour
Role & Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate access to the Document Management System.
- Support multiple departments and external suppliers with management of documentation.
- Support user training on Document Management Systems.
- Attend project Kick off Meetings as required.
- Administration of records, drawings, and documents in accordance with the Quality Management System and other specifications.
- Establish and maintain project document registers.
- Establish individual project document transmittals.
- Coordinate the project document filing with relevant offices.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in Document Control and strong working knowledge of Document Management Systems with particular emphasis placed on document control procedures.
- Ability to interpret and present information in a logical and orderly manner.
- Strong IT and administration skills.
- Inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with other individuals, departments, and businesses.
- To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate as minimum:
- Excellent Literacy skills.
- Proven ability to work within a changing workload to agreed timescales.
- Be a proficient IT user on Word, Excel, and a recognized database software package.
