Field Service Supervisor
Our client is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to join their team in Thunder Bay. This role serves as a key customer liaison, ensuring efficient, knowledgeable, and professional service delivery while leading a team of field service professionals. The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for guiding the team in adherence to corporate policies and procedures, driving operational excellence, and expanding market presence.
Mining industry experience is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
On a typical day, you will:
- Lead by example, promoting a safe, environmentally responsible, and healthy workplace in alignment with Health and Safety policies and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with established customer safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for field service requests, ensuring operational efficiency and maximizing productivity.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, overseeing repairs and collaborating with other departments to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to meet and exceed customer and business expectations.
- Implement corrective actions to enhance customer and employee satisfaction within field service operations.
- Provide financial oversight of work orders, including customer payments, warranties, claims, policies, and rework.
- Prepare and review quotes and invoices for internal and external clients.
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and contamination control processes.
- Investigate and report workplace incidents, including accidents and near misses.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by conducting regular team meetings and implementing training programs.
- Support the Product Support Manager (PSM) in managing fixed assets and planning for capital expenditures.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the field service fleet.
- Supervise employees at off-site locations, ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, urgency, and professional growth within the field service team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must have:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a service leadership position.
