Location: Remote - Canada

Type of Employment: Contract

Role & Responsibilities:

· Creating, updating, and maintaining pipe material specifications.

· Use of Microsoft Office tools to produce documents and calculations.

· Work with systems and commodity engineers to understand needs and create new specifications.

· Interface with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tool owners and integrate pipe specifications into the design process.

Qualifications / Requirements:

· Must have an Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.

· Must have Canadian P. Eng License

· Experience with the selection, classification, and procurement of piping commodities such as pipe, tubing, fittings, valves, and inline components.

· Knowledge of ASME Section III and B31.1 piping analysis minimal wall calculations.

· Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and other pipe/component specifications.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
