Hourly Rate: $60 - 80/hour

Position Overview:
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with expertise in Feeder Systems, Fuel Channels, or related components. This role will focus on sourcing, evaluating, and managing the procurement of critical components, ensuring alignment with technical, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for feeder and fuel channel components.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance with specifications and standards (e.g., CSA, ASME).
• Negotiate contracts, evaluate suppliers, and manage performance.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance and risk assessments for procured materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Nuclear, or related field); P.Eng preferred.
• 5+ years of procurement experience in the nuclear or energy sector, with knowledge of feeder systems or fuel channels.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with nuclear industry standards (CNSC, ASME, CSA) and ERP systems.
