Position Overview:
Are you passionate about project integration and finance within the aerospace sector? We're seeking a skilled Project Integration Specialist to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in tracking, coordinating, and documenting activities throughout the program management lifecycle, with a focus on finance integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and gather data concerning modification expenses, encompassing budget allocation, performance tracking, and cost projection.
- Offer direct assistance to the PMO and Finance teams in strategizing and executing each modification.
- Foster collaboration among Engineering, Materiel, and Production teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Facilitate and execute detailed breakdowns and projections of costs to align with customer requirements.
- Organize the preparation, delivery, evaluation, and approval of deliverables associated with each Life Cycle Forecast (LCF). This involves overseeing working groups, drafting LCF documents, and monitoring workflow between components and the customer.
- Fulfill additional duties as necessary.
Core Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Effective collaboration and professionalism when engaging with diverse teams and colleagues.
- Financial literacy and understanding of budgetary processes.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, including MS Project.
- Familiarity with operational and manufacturing procedures.
- Capable of working autonomously and delivering under pressure in a dynamic setting.
- Exceptional organizational prowess, adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, with robust analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive research using various resources, including manuals and databases.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
- PMP Certification is an asset.
- 3 years' experience in the aviation industry with an understanding of aircraft vernacular and familiarity with aircraft and related materials.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with 5+ years in an MRO environment (heavy maintenance) considered an asset.
- Project management background is advantageous.
