About the Role
We are seeking a Simulation Integration Specialist to support the integration, validation, and deployment of simulation systems across various test and development environments. This role ensures that simulation elements—including models, software, and hardware—are correctly integrated into our test assets to support the development of next-generation autonomous electric aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate, validate, and deploy simulations for multiple applications, including Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) and System-Level simulations.
- Support hardware-software integration and commissioning of simulation and test assets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployed simulation solutions.
- Document and address discrepancies (DRs) in integrated simulation and test assets.
- Ensure accurate configuration control of all integrated simulation and test systems.
- Develop and deploy software fixes for simulation systems as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define system requirements and deliver critical simulation solutions.
- Work in an agile environment to support evolving simulation and testing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware/software integration or simulation development.
- Hands-on experience developing HIL/SIL simulations and test environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for hardware/software integration.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for simulation software development.
- Familiarity with multiple communication protocols used in simulation systems.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or flight simulation domains.
- Knowledge of flight simulation training devices (FSTDs).
- Familiarity with aircraft communication protocols such as RS-485, ARINC 429, and ARINC 664.
- Understanding of aircraft avionics, dynamics, and operations.
- Previous experience designing, developing, testing, or certifying integrated simulation and test assets.
- Knowledge in one or more of the following simulation aspects:
- Aircraft Avionics (FMS, TCAS, EGPWS, etc.)
- Aircraft Systems (hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics, etc.)
- Flight Dynamics (aerodynamics, stability, flight controls, etc.)
- Command & Control (C2) and Air Traffic Control systems.
- GPS/Navigation and Communication Systems (ACARS, CPDLC, etc.)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated and eager to take on complex technical challenges.
- Strong problem-solver with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communicator who can work with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and committed to delivering high-quality results.
- A team player with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled specialist to contribute to cutting-edge simulation development in a rapidly evolving aerospace environment. If you have the expertise and passion for simulation integration, we encourage you to apply!
