Location: 1675 MONTGOMERY PARK RD (Hybrid – 2 days remote)
Job Overview:
- Perform Design Engineering work as per the Engineering Change Control process at Ontario Power Generation.
- This includes but is not limited to: Preparation and Verification of Engineering documents, drawings, etc;
- preparation of Calculations and Technical specifications to support component replacements via modifications.
- Work with various stakeholders such as other Station and Design Engineering teams, Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Vendors/Manufacturers.
Qualifications:
- Licensed PEO Engineer with 5+ years of related Engineering Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Process Instrumentation and Control (preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in working with Valve accessories)/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineer with experience in working with Valve accessories (ex: actuators) and limit switches/positioners
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills are desired as a lot of decision making involves working with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Word, Outlook, Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Ontario Driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.
