Overview:

• Bruce Power is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with prior experience at Bruce Power for a 1-year contract. The role involves supporting the safe and efficient operation of our facilities by working on mechanical systems within a nuclear power plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support, including troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Lead or support mechanical system projects, including upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a nuclear power plant.
• Previous Bruce Power experience is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in engineering tools.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is preferred.
