Role Description / Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering project document control in accordance with Cameco’s procedures ensuring compliance with Cameco’s processes for controlled and not controlled documents
- Responsible for project filing, archiving, retention and handover preparation, electronic document flow and distribution within project teams (supply chain management, engineering and vendors)
- Ensure effective and efficient management of project and functional department documents to a high degree of reliability for security, version, visibility and availability while maintaining a controlled reliable audit trail
- Support and enable adoption of new processes and digital tools
Skills / Previous Experience
- Self starter, able to learn and apply new concepts, software and use of tools quickly and independently
- Solid interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize work is critical
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with electronic file sharing networks or web-based document management systems
- Previous experience in construction, engineering or project management work environments
