We're currently supporting our client, a leading figure in military and commercial aircraft maintenance, in their search for AME Licensed Structural Technicians for their Langley, BC site.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute all assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to the customer's check package, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), as well as all relevant maintenance, manufacturing, and policy manuals, within the bounds of their certification authority.
- Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, paperwork, and reporting associated with repairs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, fostering efficient and precise task execution and nurturing skill development within the trade.
- Uphold adherence to health and safety policies and procedures in all work tasks.
- Fulfill any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or the relevant governing body).
- Experience:
- Holding an AME license or equivalent.
- Four years of experience performing AME duties.
- Proficient communication skills: fluency in both written and verbal English is essential.
- Basic computer literacy: familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
- Specific expertise in the manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft or systems and components, particularly in Structures and/or Composites.
- Ability to maintain approved quality control standards.
- Proficiency in safe work practices and techniques.
