Essential Responsibilities

• Creating, updating and maintaining pipe material specifications.
• Use of Microsoft Office tools to produce documents and calculations.
• Work with systems and commodity engineers to understand needs and create new specifications.
• Interface with BIM tool owners and integrate pipe specifications into design process.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience with selection, classification, and procurement of piping commodities such as pipe, tubing, fittings, valves and inline components.
• Knowledge of ASME Section III and B31.1 piping analysis minimal wall calculations.
• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASTM and other pipe/component specifications.
• Fluent in Microsoft word and Excel
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Canadian P. Eng License
