We are assisting our client a leader in the Aerospace/Defense industry in their search for S Licensed Technicians.
Their duties include but are not limited to:
- Performance of work, up to and including certification with approved processes.
- Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including Service Difficulties).
- Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
- Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft.
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Assuming responsibility for his work as indicated by his signature/stamp;
- Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures;
- Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered;
- Familiarization of the MPM and related processes;
- Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.
- Carry out duties according to the appropriate maintenance policy manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times;
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-Structures program from a recognized Canadian institute;
- Possess a valid AME-S license;
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills; -
- Must be attentive to detail and demonstrate professional pride in ensuring the end product meets or exceeds Transport Canada’s/Manufacturer’s criteria;
- Experience working on the A310 with endorsement is considered an asset;
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment;
- Ability to be productive and multi-task in a demanding work environment;
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills;
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status
