Are you an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a skilled CMT Technician - Mechanic (AVN) to join our team and take on critical responsibilities in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling CC130J aircraft. This role demands a high level of expertise and dedication to ensuring aircraft safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on CC130J aircraft in compliance with Canadian Forces and industry standards.
- Complete all associated documentation accurately, following Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), and other relevant manuals and procedures.
- Adhere to customer check packages and ensure aircraft return in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Provide leadership and coaching to junior technicians, fostering skill development and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, safe work practices, and accurate documentation.
Core Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Specialized knowledge in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification, with experience in Mechanics, Avionics, Structures, or Composites.
- Ability to enforce quality control standards and manage work effectively.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a proven track record in managing workflows and enhancing productivity.
Training & Experience:
- Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from an approved body or equivalent military training.
- Minimum 48 months of relevant experience and possession of a Transport Canada AME-M license or equivalent certification.
- Experience with CC130 B-H & J aircraft and/or military experience is advantageous.
- Must hold or be able to obtain Controlled Goods Program Clearance and Secret Security Clearance.
