Job Title: Contract Supervisor, Supply Chain (remote role)
Location: Chalk River, ON - on site

Job Summary:
The Contract Supervisor, Supply Chain reports functionally to a Supply Chain Manager and leads a team responsible for procurement and contract management activities across various scopes, complexities, and risks. This role involves pre and post-contract management and acts as the primary liaison between corporate requirements, project needs, and mission priorities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Law, Engineering, Science, IT, or Technical discipline preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive contracting experience, preferably in Procurements of Goods, Services, and/or Construction in complex technical, engineering, and regulatory environments
Experience, Abilities, and Skills:
- Strong work ethics and professionalism
- Self-starting, motivated, and autonomous
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
- Effective analytical abilities
- Certification or enrollment in professional development programs such as SCMA or ISM
- Knowledge of Canadian Contract Law
- Understanding of ethical contracting and business conduct
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP tools like Oracle Purchasing and iProcurement
- Exemplary organization, planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to lead, mentor, and align staff
- Ability to provide high-quality written documentation
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning tools

- Lead a team in pre and post-contract management activities
- Ensure resource capability and capacity within the team
- Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders
- Manage the procurement lifecycle according to policies and procedures
- Provide advice on contract strategies and processes
- Liaise with other functional groups
- Review and authorize procurement documentation
- Establish relationships with contractors/vendors
- Develop continuous improvement strategies
