DND Supply Chain Manager - Permanent - Calgary, AB
Location: Calgary, AB (on-site)
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000/year

Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, purchasing, transportation, personnel management, and more. They will lead a team of supply chain professionals and ensure the efficient operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all inventory held at the warehouses.
Manage all purchasing activities.
Handle all transportation-related activities.
Manage supply management activities in DRMIS and company inventory management systems.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
Plan and implement logistical strategies, ensuring targets are met.
Utilize computer software to track goods from origin to delivery.
Work on forecasts and inventories, maintaining accurate records and analyzing performance.
Manage costs while maintaining quality.
Motivate and manage a team of supply chain staff.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Minimize risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chain.
Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain to meet sustainability targets.
Implement new technologies and stay updated on industry trends.
Control vendor and delivery processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years of DND Logistics experience at the Logistics Officer Level.
Proficiency in Canadian Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, at least at the intermittent level.
10 years of experience in managing complex supply organizations in a military environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) certification.
Bachelor's (BA) or Master's (MBA) degree.
